CLITHEROE CASTLE REMEMBRANCE
On Thursday 7th November, the Year 5 children went to Clitheroe Castle museum where they participated in Remembrance activities including: drill training; learning about trench life and handling memorabilia; creating a poppy wreath using different craft materials and writing poetry about wars. It was a fabulous opportunity for children to learn about the World Wars and to reflect on the importance of Remembrance Day.
