Clitheroe Foodbank
During the half term holidays some children from Year 5 and Year 6 went to Clitheroe Food Bank to deliver all the tins the school had collected during Harvest. The friendly volunteers gave the children a tour and explained the work they do. Afterwards, the children had a drink and biscuit in the drop-in cafe. All the children were surprised at how many local people visit the Food Bank, so much so, that the children have decided to keep a box in the foyer of school for parents and relatives to put in any food or toiletry donations. The box will be delivered at the end of each term to the Food Bank.
