Milly's Smiles Charity
The school parliament visited Milly's Smiles charity in Clayton-le-Moors. Lorraine Hargreaves, Milly's mum and founder of the charity showed us around the premises and explained the work the charity does; providing a Milly Bag to every family whose child has been admitted to Manchester, Alder Hey and Leeds Children’s Hospitals with a new cancer diagnosis. The pupils were presented with a thank you certificate for the money they raised prior to Christmas.
