The Duchy of Lancaster Views School Artwork
Vicki Mathews, the Duchy of Lancaster Operations and Project Manager, visited Thorneyholme last week to spend time talking to the junior children about the fabulous art work they have created for the village hoardings. The junior children explained how much of their own time they had been spent on creating their 'works of art'. All of this would not have been possible without the time Mrs Janet Wells has given to the children; coming in to offer her support and expertise over the past several weeks. And all is not finished - some of the infant children are drawing and painting little insects to be scattered around the junior work. All should be very proud of their artistic skills. Keep your eye out for their artwork in the centre of the village.
