  • Open Day Success!

    Sun 10 Jul 2016

The school opened its doors to past pupils, parishioners and the local community on the 8th & 10th July.  Both open days were a huge success and it was wonderful to see so many past pupils reuniting with one another and sharing their special memories.

On the 8th July, all the children provided entertainment, by singing a selection of songs, which was followed by the youngest and the oldest pupils cutting a special 150th Anniversary cake.  On the 10th July the school was packed with visitors of all generations.

Thank you to everyone who came along to support such a special occasion!

We are planning to set another date for later in the year, for those who were unable to attend or who wish to return.

  • Stewardship Junior Worship

    Wed 06 Jul 2016
All the children brought their toy animals into school as part of a whole school worship on Stewardship, organised and led by the juniors.  Children watched a Noah’s Ark animation and all entered the Ark with their toys.  The junior children gave the infants a prayer card they had written and decorated.
  • A Job well done!

    Sat 02 Jul 2016

Great team building, hard work and fun was had by the volunteers after school today.  Armed with lots of wheelbarrows, brushes, shovels, rakes and even a farm buggy, everyone managed to move 27 cubic metres of bark from the yard to the wooden play frame.

A massive thank you to everyone!
