• Year 6 Leavers Hoodies

  Year 6 were presented with their Leavers' Hoodies this week.  The children are wearing these with pride and as a reminder of their responsibilities as the eldest pupils in the school.

   

   

• EASTER READ AROUND 2021

  Easter Read Around Yesterday the children and staff came together in the school hall to reflect on the Easter story. Children listened to the story from the points of view of different people who witnessed the event at that time, and Easter hymns were interspersed between the readings. Despite the fact that we were unable to invite parents and parishioners to join us this year, the Sunshine Society (Mini Vinnies) made little Easter bundles, to show our school community that they are very much still in our thoughts at this special time of the year.

• A FOND FAREWELL

  Yesterday was Mrs Smith's last day as Headteacher of Thorneyholme. Not only do we all wish her many thanks for all her hard work and a very 'fond farewell', but a very Happy Retirement.
